1. Purpose of the Platform

Pips Learn ("we", "us", "the Platform") is an online community where traders can share ideas and learn from each other for educational purposes only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We are not a broker or licensed financial advisor under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) or any similar regulation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to use Pips Learn.
  • You agree to follow all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

4. Account Responsibility

  • Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • Do not impersonate others or use automated bots without approval.

5. Community & Posting Rules

  • Be respectful — no hate speech, harassment, or abusive language.
  • Keep posts educational and trading-related.
  • No misleading, manipulated, or fabricated results.
  • No selling of signals, paid groups, or investment solicitation.
  • No spam or promotional content without prior permission.
  • Only post content you have rights to share.
  • No insider trading or market manipulation.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your content but grant Pips Learn a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote it within the Platform. Withdrawn content may remain archived for transparency and compliance.

7. Editing & Deletion Policy

  • Typos may be edited within 2–3 minutes of posting.
  • Trade details (symbol, entry, stop, targets, timeframe) become locked after this window.
  • Full delete allowed within 60 seconds; soft "withdrawal" after that (content hidden but retained for record).
  • Comments: 2-minute delete window if no replies; otherwise replaced with "[deleted]".

8. Moderation

We may remove or restrict content violating these Terms. Repeated or serious offenses may result in account suspension. To appeal a moderation decision, email us at pipsuniversity.academy@gmail.com.

9. Regulatory Compliance

  • Pips Learn is an educational platform only — no investment advice.
  • All users must disclose if their shared trades are real or simulated.
  • We may cooperate with regulators or authorities if required by law.

We respect your privacy and comply with POPIA and GDPR. Please see our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer & Liability

  • Pips Learn provides information "as is" with no guarantees of accuracy or performance.
  • All trading is done at your own risk.
  • Pips Learn is not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences resulting from user content or actions.

12. Indemnity

You agree to hold harmless Pips Learn, its team, and affiliates from any claims arising from your content, behavior, or breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after notice means acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
